Pierpont Lanes & Ventura Keys
Pierpont Lanes, Keys, Seaward, Schoolhouse Beach, Big Beach, Little Beach, Ventura Harbor - these are all locales within the Ventura beach and harbor residential communities. These coastal neighborhoods include a wide array of home styles, from condos and duplexes to harborside and oceanfront homes. Pierpont Elementary School serves this community, and some students and teachers can be found catching waves before class. The Seaward corridor offers restaurants, eclectic shops, locally-owned businesses and a beach front motel.
Pierpont Boulevard runs parallel to the shore and each lane runs perpendicular between Pierpont Boulevard and the ocean. Each lane is like a mini-neighborhood, capped with beach access where the lane meets the sand. Two homes on each lane are oceanfront. The Lanes area is adjacent to San Buenaventura State Beach to the North and Marina Park to the South.
The Ventura Keys community is a 1960s-era development with homes on the "dry" side or on the "wet" side. There are waterfront homes that enjoy channel access via boat docks and spacious decks in the "backyards." The Ventura Keys neighborhood offers a voluntary homeowners association that supports the two waterfront parks featuring gathering spaces with grills, sports courts, water sports launch docks, playgrounds and open space to soak in some sun.
Beyond the keys toward the Ventura Harbor there is a highly desirable 55+ community, Ventura Marina Manufactured Home Park, as well as a newer live-work rental development Portside with retail, fitness offerings and community activities.
